Community Involvement

Patient and Physician Appreciation Evening

Central Valley Physical Therapy annually host a Patient and Physician Appreciation Evening in Stockton, Lodi, and Galt. We like to take this evening to show our gratitude for being a part of the CVPT family.

CVPT is proud to help many local charities throughout the year in raising awareness and helping with local food drives for the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter and Toy Drives. We work closely with and are involved in many charities such as:

  • Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • Heroes and Helmets for Hope
  • Bakersfield Ronal McDonald House
  • Bakersfield City Fire Department
  • Kern County Fire Department

Each year, Central Valley PT launches multiple fundraising campaigns to involve our community while giving back. During the month of March, we host a NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament bracket in which donations go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In July, we Honor Our Heroes by highlighting stories of patients, family, and friends of those serving or who have served in the military. In October, we participate in Pink October by selling t-shirts to benefit the Pink Heals of Kern County.

Athletic Training Services

Central Valley Physical Therapy provides Athletic Training Services to the community whenever possible. We provided physical therapy and assisted in athletic training services at the 2016 California State Wrestling Meet. CVPT also supports and is involved annually in the Kern County Concussion Symposium. For many years now, we have been proud to provide physical therapy services for the Bakersfield Condors.
