Dr. Mary K. Barry earned her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California in 2007. Earlier, in 1995, Mary graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Before entering the world of Physical Therapy 5 years ago, Mary worked for The Permanente Medical Group in Physician Education & Development working with physicians to better develop their communication skills for improved interactions with patients. Having worked directly with patients as a peer health educator while at Cal, Mary came to miss direct interactions with patients while at TPMG and made the move to Physical Therapy to return to that role.
Mary grew up in Red Bluff, CA, another small, agriculturally-based community, and feels right at home in the small town of Templeton.
