Central Valley Physical Therapy
Zach – I just wanted to let you know what a great atmosphere your office has. I actually look forward to my appointments. Rick does a great job.
John C. Bianchi
Jim,
You probably don't remember me but you went through school with my son, John Ulman. My wife says you might remember him from an elementary school contest in which you dressed up as Big Bird and John dressed up as a geisha girl. John is now an actor living in Seattle and I recently learned that you are the President of Central Valley Physical Therapy. Man, you both have come a long way.
In any event, the reason I am e-mailing you is to pass on to you my commendation of your local office in which Andris Veiss is the director. I was referred to them by a podiatrist to see if anodyne therapy as well as balance therapy would help the peripheral neuropthy in my feet.
I don't often comment on services rendered by businesses but, in this case, I found your local office to be very exceptional and wanted to let you know of my experience. Andy is an extremely competent therapist and administrator. His concern for his patients is always apparent. Yesterday was the second anniversary of the opening of his office and he had a barbecue luncheon for his past and current patients. It was one of the best luncheons I have attended and probably the only one I have attended that was given by a business to express gratitude to its customers. What was really impressive was how well attended it was. There were probably 80 to 100 patients there and many of them were past patients- this showed to me that no one came just for a free lunch; they were there to visit with Andy and his staff and help him celebrate the anniversary of the opening of his office.
Vanessa and Natalie are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They, along with Andy, always create a very cheerful environment for the patients. As weird as this may sound, I look forward to my therapy sessions, largely because of these three people. They are all very competent, organized, caring, optimistic, and cheerful. You are very fortunate to have this staff for your local office.
Good luck in the future.
John Ulman

Dear Andy,
I want to say how much I appreciate you and Central Valley Physical Therapy. I am sure that I would not be walking today without the aid of a walker, if I would be walking at all, had it not been for you and all that CVPT did for me. I have been to other physical therapies before, but none of them showed the sincere desire to improve me physically like you. Each and every time I entered the facility, one or more of your staff made sure to speak with me, see how I was feeling, where I felt I needed assistance in therapy and worked with me to ensure I felt better when I left than when I came in. This personal attention is shown to each and every patient at your facility, regardless if it is the first visit or the last. I never felt like a burden to anyone, and everyone went the extra mile to assist me with anything I needed.
You and your staff made the difficult times during my recovery enjoyable. I never felt like “it wasn’t worth it” because you and your staff were always encouraging me to “keep up the good work” even on days where I couldn’t do my usual exercises.
I cannot say enough good things about CVPT and the personal attention you give everyone. You even provide drinks and snacks to you patients, which is wonderful on the HOT Bakersfield days!
Thank you so much for the time and effort you gave me. I truly know I would not be able to walk without surgery had you not made it so important to help me get better.
If I can ever be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please feel free to use me as a reference for your facility also.
Again, thank you and everyone there for helping me to regain my ability to walk without the aid of a walker or cane.
Sincerely,
Liz Arnold

Andy Veiss,
Central Valley Physical Therapy Staff,
I want to thank you and your staff for a very enjoyable experience during my time of therapy. I was impressed by the prompt and friendly atmosphere. The professional treatment and attention given was done with kind consideration for all the clients.
I always looked forward to my appointments. It was delightful to see how well you and your staff interacted with patients and the equipment was always clean and in good working order.
Now that I've finished my treatments, I'm feeling so much better! I'm going to miss all of you. I think I'll pop in from time to time to see if you're staying on your toes. Keep up the good work. You're a swell bunch.
Sincerely,
Ginger Peters
I would like to thank Andy, and his staff, for their care for me.
When I began treatment about six weeks ago, I was wheelchair-bound and being threatened with amputation of my right leg.
After approximately a dozen visits, my pain has decreased dramatically, and I am even able to walk (with a cane) slowly, but surely, around the spacious office.
I am extremely thankful for the treatment I have received. On top of everything else, my prior experience with physical therapy was in a "cookie-cutter" atmosphere at the large (and inept) county hospital where physical therapy involved 45 minutes of "do it yourself" on an exercise bike. At Central Valley, the appointments are double and the results astronomically better.
Thanks for letting me add my voice to the future success of your Bakersfield office.
Respectfully,
Bob Bennett
Becky -
I want to take a few minutes out of my day to thank you for all of your efforts on my behalf over the last 15 months. When I walked through the door back in April 2007, I was a 44 year old man who felt like he was 94, and the pain and discomfort were so bad, and had been going on for so long, that I had little or no hope of ever getting better. I must admit that my prior experiences of physical therapy had led me to believe it would be - once again - a waste of my time. But I decided to take a leap of faith and give physical therapy another chance. Since then, I have experienced steady improvement. My lower back was back to normal fairly quickly; my middle back took longer, but now feels better than ever; and my neck is slowly but surely responding to the treatment (the main hold-up here is my own availability for treatment, not the effectiveness of the treatment itself). All of this has greatly improved my capacity to work, my ability to concentrate, and my day-to-day mental outlook. I can honestly say that Central Valley Physical Therapy - Zack and Becky - turned my life around, and for the sake of my wife and kids, I am truly grateful.

San Luis Sports Therapy
Although I am not yet finished with my physical therapy, I will be starting a new job in San Luis Obispo and continuing my therapy at your office down there. Since today is my last day at the Templeton office, I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication in helping me through the most difficult period in my recovery. When I first arrived, I could barely walk with ankle braces and could barely lift my left arm which was in a sling. Today I can actually jog and can drive my stick-shift car with both hands – two aspects of my daily living which were taken from me. Thank you so much for giving them back to me. Your good work extended beyond just the physical aspect. It meant a lot to me to be greeted with a smile and offered words of encouragement by everyone. The level of service, attentiveness and caring that you provide to patients are very special and much appreciated. Your light-hearted atmosphere and sense of humor also go a long way in uplifting spirits when it is so easy for patients to become morose and defeated. Thank you for being there for me.
I wish you all a very happy new year as well as a safe and healthy one!

P.S. David, I typed this not with both hands. Serena and Mandy, I also could
have typed it lying on my back and with my feet.
To Mike Williams at the Morro Bay facility,
I wanted you to know that I feel I have benefited significantly from my therapy. I am back on my mountain bike and even taking short walks. With the ankle much improved I can handle the PN.
I also want you to know that I was impressed with your team. Everyone was most helpful and professional, all with a good sense of humor. I especially want to thank Catherine for her help. Without her encouragement I may not have stuck with it.
Sincerely,
John Boudreau
To All the SLO Sports Therapy PT’s
You work with us daily,
You make us repeat
The arm bike and bands as
We stand straight and neat.
You twist and you stretch out
Our arms, legs and feet,
Direct lifts, curls and pulleys
Until we are beat.
But we know that your goal
Is to make us complete,
And you always reward us
With ice, stim and heat.
So Thank You, dear PT’s
For being so Sweet

"I went to San Luis Sports Therapy after I lost strength on my left side after a mild stroke." I worked wit both a physical therapist and an occupational therapist. I learned practices that quickly improved my ability to manage my daily routine and to feel quite normal again. The personnel involved were very knowledgeable and extremely easy to deal with."

"I have experienced two episodes of lower back pain within this calendar year and have been referred to San Luis Sports Therapy. In each instance treatment and counsel was given to me over periods of two months in each case. Wendy Shaw Dahl was my physical therapist and no one could have been better for me. Wendy was kind, attentive, well organized, concerned, cognitive and caring. She represented this organization extremely well, as did everyone I had dealings with, including Kelly Sanders. Michele Schneider who pitched in with my care and Corie Hardy who kept everyone cheerfully informed. This is a good place to get help."

Delta Physical Therapy
My experience with Delta Physical Therapy was more than just recovering from physical injuries. The staff, and even some of the clients, here in Galt are truly like extended family. Jason, Janis and Mark helped with my mental well-being as well. It was a huge transformation for me leaving the military and adjusting to civilian life. They have truly help me and I feel that their doors are always open.

To Chip Hanker & Staff:
I know this note is long overdue, but my thanks are sincere for the therapy treatments I received.
Back in July of this year I had back pains. Which I have had many times. I went to my chiropractor and had several treatments, but felt no relief. Then I chose another chiropractor and had several treatments. He indicated that is would take several months before my back would be in shape. I then went to our family doctor who recommended I
Take a series of therapy treatments. I chose Delta because I knew Stephanie Wiebe worked there, and she always spoke highly of the therapy people received. She was right! After a few treatments my back pain was gone. After my allowable treatments, exercise was recommended. I have done them faithfully. I have given my back a good test these past months working in construction. I feel fine and am grateful to all of you.
Your smiles and friendliness was also appreciated.
Thanks again.

Letter to the Editor
THANKS FOR THE PAIN RELIEF
"Thank you, Jason Locke. After being in chronic pain for at least 10 years, I am now able to do things that I haven't been able to do in years. Thank all the nice people who work at Delta Physical Therapy here in Galt. We are fortunate to have you."

"In life as we get older, our minds are young and our body's seem to
age. When we wake up with ever so frustrating aches
and pains it is nice to have a family of professionals to help us work
through the pain with gentle hands and kind hearts. The staff at Jason
Locke's physical therapy office is wonderful. They are supportive and
understanding. They help not only heal the tissue and bones that ache,
also the frustration one goes through emotionally. Having to deal with
the physical
limitations of recovery is hard enough and they are wonderful in that
field, they also help the patient get through the mental frustration of
healing. Thank you for all your support and comfort. I don't know of any
better place to go to for your type of healing and I've been to quite a
few in my lifetime. I'm very glad you came to our community in Galt."
Thank you,
Susan A. Poe Galt, CA
"Having had both knees replaced these past 2 years, I found I was faced
with two problems following surgery - The
reluctance to exercise due to discomfort and the problems I would face
if I didn't. fortunately, I was referred to Delta Physical Therapy in
Galt, CA where Jason Locke, the Physical Therapist, provided the
stepping stones to my recovery. His optimism and expertise motivated me
in sound, safe exercises. You are making a difference. Keep up the good
work, Jason."
