Updates on COVID-19/Coronavirus

Dear Patients,

As concerned members of this community, we want to balance the health and well-being of our patients, team members and community as well as the need for therapy care.  As such, we will only be open for in-clinic visits on a very limited capacity dictated by patient condition and medical history/comorbidities. As a concerned member of our community, we feel strongly this is the best way we can continue to responsibly serve those in the greatest need and also maintain strict adherence to CDC guidelines.

Telehealth visits and E-Visits.  We are offering telehealth visits for all payers and billing insurance.  For Medicare patients, we are only able to offer E-visits which include access to our patient portal and a phone call.  Telehealth visits are live, HIPAA secure video chats with your therapist that you can do from your smartphone, iPad/tablet or computer.  Anything that has access to the internet and a camera! For additional information, please see THIS link to our FAQ document and THIS link to information on the telehealth platform.

Here are some further recommendations for minimizing risk for COVID-19 as well as other viruses:

  • Keep your hands clean. Wash hands often and if hand washing is not available, use hand sanitizer. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Proper hand hygiene is one of the most important steps you can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.
  • As always, cover your cough and stay home when you are sick.
  • Today, start working on not touching your face because viruses spread when touching your own mouth, nose, or eyes.
  • Since we know the virus is here, we all need to stay away from people who are sick.

Yours in Health,
Your CVPT team
